DESCRIPTION:For ticketholders of our Rebel and Revolutionary short film screening\, you’re welcome to join us for a free drink and look round the amazing 78 Derngate ahead of the screening. 78 Derngate is on the same road as the Filmhouse so there is easy access to the screening from there. \nDesigned and re-modelled by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1916\, 78 Derngate was the architect’s final major commission. DESCRIPTION:Your ticket includes a free drink at 78 Derngate from 5pm ahead of this screening – join us for a drink and a free look around this amazing house ahead of the films. The Filmhouse is only a few hundred metres away. Please book a free ticket on the schedule so we can keep you updated. \nNFF says Northants is a county of Rebels and Revolutionaries\, Misfits and Mavericks\, Creatives and Changemakers so we’ve picked out a selection of short films from this year’s entries to match some of those themes. \nThis programme includes animation\, documentary\, drama\, LGBTQ+ historical drama and some comedy. A bit of everything! It’s an 18 so be prepared for strong themes\, bad language\, violence and sex. \nFilms start promptly at 7pm – no trailers. Doors open 20 minutes before the films start. \nNorthampton Filmhouse has step free access to the screening room but only 1 wheelchair space and only 1 row of chairs without using steps. The wheelchair space can be booked below but if you’d like to reserve a space in the top row please book a ticket then contact us.
