DESCRIPTION:T CORONA BOREALIS by Gary Poyner\, a famous variable star observer. This interesting variable star last flared up in 1946. Nicknamed the Blaze Star\, it is a binary star and a recurrent nova 3\,000 light-years away. It was first discovered in outburst in 1866. The science and the story by our well known speaker Gary Poyner. Guests and visitors are very welcome.
