This is the entrance to the old part of the Guildhall by the public toilets and statue of Spencer Percival. Tour includes the Mayor’s Shelid Gallery\, the old Town Hall keepers living quarters and the basement cells. \nThe maximum group size for tours is 14. \nAlthough all public areas of the building are accessible by lift\, the basement can only be reached by stairs. \nDue to uneven floors in places\, please wear appropriate footwear. \nThis tour is not suitable for children under 8 years old. \nAll children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. \nTours will last approximately 1 hour.

DESCRIPTION:Join musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a playful\, interactive introduction to orchestral music. \nFeaturing 25 musicians performing a range of music in ways you’ve never imagined\, this event is specially designed for people who may find traditional concerts challenging to attend\, including adults and children with learning disabilities\, movement disorders\, sensory impairments\, autistic spectrum disorder\, dementia and other neurological conditions\, or those with young children or babies.  \nIncluding interactive elements\, close-up experiences of the musicians\, BSL interpretation\, Makaton singalong\, and gentle sensory elements\, this performance is relaxed\, so attendees are welcome to enjoy the concert without worry. There will be opportunities to sing\, dance\, move about or just listen as preferred\, and ‘chill out’ spaces will be available for anyone needing some quiet time before re-entering the auditorium. At the end of the concert\, you will be invited to take part in optional activities offering a range of musical interactive experiences led by the RPO musicians. \nSEATING OPTIONS \nFor this show\, you can either sit in the auditorium seating or sit on floor mats and beanbags closer to the musicians with space to move around.
