Northampton’s business community is being invited to come together this March for an International Women’s Day Charity Ball at the Mercure Hotel Northampton, combining thought-provoking conversation, corporate networking and fundraising for a vital local cause.
Taking place on Friday, 6 March, the evening will mark International Women’s Day under the global theme #GiveToGain, with a programme designed to celebrate female leadership while encouraging businesses to invest in positive social impact.
The event will feature an engaging panel discussion with female founders and senior business figures from across the region, sharing insights on leadership, resilience and success in today’s commercial landscape. The discussion will be followed by dinner, drinks and dancing, offering a relaxed but high-quality setting for corporate guests to connect, entertain clients and recognise team achievements.
Funds raised during the evening will support Northamptonshire Rape Crisis, which will be marking its 40th anniversary in 2026. The organisation provides essential support services for women and girls across the county.
Organiser Joanne MacGregor said the event is designed to resonate with businesses and community groups that want their values to be visible as well as their success.
She added: “International Women’s Day is an opportunity for businesses to step back and ask how they are contributing to the future they want to see. This event is about celebrating progress, amplifying women’s voices in business, and giving back to organisations that make a real difference locally. It’s purposeful, it’s professional, and it’s a brilliant night out.”
Corporate tables of 10 are available, offering companies an ideal opportunity to host clients, reward teams or demonstrate their commitment to equality and community engagement. A limited number of individual tickets will also be available.
The International Women’s Day Charity Ball will run from 7.30pm to 11.45pm at the Mercure Hotel Northampton.
James Simpson, manager at Mercure Hotel Northampton, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be hosting the International Women’s Day Charity Ball at the Mercure Hotel Northampton.
