Discover the joy of singing together at our free 2026 ChoirFest taster session, hosted at Northampton Central Library. Following the success of previous years, this relaxed workshop invites anyone — from complete beginners to confident vocalists — to come along, try something new, and experience the buzz of creating music as a group.

Led by Britains Got Talent Finalists Northants Sings Out Choir Director, Gareth Fuller (credits Liam Gallagher, Pavarotti to name a few), the session will guide participants through simple harmonies, fun vocal warm-ups, and a collaborative song that you’ll learn and perform together by the end of the morning. It’s a warm, supportive environment designed to help you find your voice, build confidence, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of singing with others.

This event is part of a wider partnership between Northampton Central Library, and West Northamptonshire Council, who continue to champion accessible, community-led arts experiences across the area. Attendees will also get a first look at what’s coming up in the ChoirFest 2026 programme, with updates from the team and a glimpse at this year’s performance plans.
