This screening is in collaboration with CLICK Arts Foundation – all of the ticket sale profits go to CLICK who support performing arts projects with a focus on bringing the best out of a community. Please join us at Grandbies after the screening – book a free ticket on this site.
This screening is of local and British short films ranging from 1 minute to 20 minutes in length which meet the Creative or Changemaker remit of our festival manifesto – that Northants is a county of Rebels and Revolutionaries, Misfits and Mavericks, Creatives and Changemakers. We thought this screening particularly resonated with our charity partner CLICK! It includes animations, dance films, dramas, comedies, experimental films and documentaries so a real creative mix.
CLICK Arts Foundation support groups who focus on social inclusion and personal development through the arts. We are the natural expansion of CLICK Productions, where we produced plays and ran drama and movement workshops to support, fundraise for, and connect with the community since 1993. We recognise that the benefits of involvement in the arts extend far beyond the stage and as a charity, we support those who provide a safe and nurturing space to promote growth through all aspects of performance and creativity.
Contains some themes that audience members might find distressing such as discussions of abuse (suitable for a 12A certificate), detention/immigration issues, environmental issues and mental health.
