Northants is a county of Rebels and Revolutionaries, Misfits and Mavericks, Creatives and Changemakers – so here’s a selection of shorts from our 2026 submissions which we thought fitted under the Misfits or Mavericks themes. Here at NFF we think there’s lots of positivity around the idea of being a misfit. Misfits and Mavericks think differently, take up space differently, but also sometimes we all have that desire to just fit in….
Films start promptly at 8.15pm – no trailers. Doors open 20 minutes before the films start.
Northampton Filmhouse has step free access to the screening room but only 1 wheelchair space and only 1 row of chairs without using steps. The wheelchair space can be booked below but if you’d like to reserve a space in the top row please book a ticket then contact us. If you are a wheelchair user who wants to attend but the wheelchair space is sold out, please contact us so we can see what we can do.
