Thursday 2 November Northampton Punk Join Alex Novak, local punk expert, record shop owner and musician to discuss the impact the punk revolution had on our town and county. Alex was lead singer in local punk band the ISAWS and later a member of several post-punk bands. He continues to perform for Venus Fly Trap. Exploring the world of sustainable fashion, the issues the industry faces and those that are challenging the systems in place. This session will draw parallels from the 1970’s and the emergence of punk with the growing movement of design activism and sustainable fashion today.
