Architectural Tissues: Forms and Potentials for Movement – Workshop with Adam Moore

15 October 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Artist Adam Moore will present a workshop that combines space, body, movement and art. He will be leading a 3 hr session in which participants are invited to explore the relationship between interior and exterior spaces, the emotions that bodies and places hold, and ways by which transitions from stillness to movement, from silence to talking, can open up new ways of engaging with the spaces we inhabit. The workshop will begin with an exercise that combines mindful awareness and the movement of bodies inside the temporary gallery space at Vulcan Works, proceeded by a group walk through Beckets Park. The session will end with a drawing and painting exercise, in which participants will be invited to express their experiences.
