Cake and Debate – Hosted by the West Northamptonshire Youth Council West Northamptonshire Youth Advisory Council are delighted to invite your students and young people to join us for Cake and Debate, an exciting and interactive event hosted by the West Northamptonshire Youth Advisory Council, alongside members of the UK Youth Parliament and Youth Council UK, all of whom are elected representatives for young people across West Northamptonshire. ? Date: Monday 24th November ? Time: 4:30pm – 6:30pm ? Venue: The Guildhall, Northampton ?? Free Event – Limited Spaces Available! This event is open to all young people aged 11–17 who live or study in West Northamptonshire. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy some cake while taking part in lively, youth-led debates and discussions with local councillors, MPs and senior officers from West Northamptonshire Council. The discussions will explore real issues that matter to young people, such as: Should smartphones be used in schools? Tackling knife crime and keeping young people safe Access to youth transport and affordable travel Mental health and wellbeing support for young people Cost of living and how it affects young people The need for youth spaces, clubs, and local opportunities How can schools and communities...
