To kickstart NFF's new Industry Day we're starting with some short films created by new and local filmmakers - more films to be added soon! This screening includes the local premiere of BFI Film Academy Short Course film 'You Are What You Eat' created by the Core at Corby Cube and Northampton Film Festival. The students who created the film will be collecting their BFI certificates on the day. Tickets are free so if you are unable to come, please let us know so we can release your ticket as these events tend to sell out. Please arrive by 11am - we cannot hold unused tickets if there is a waiting list on the day so your ticket may be released to someone else if you are not there at the beginning of the screening. Comedy and drama your thing? We promise you laughs and plenty of drama with this selection. You'll be able to put your questions to some of the filmmakers after the screening. Ben Norris' debut short, comedy 'Toad in the Hole' premiered at London Film Festival 2025 before heading off on the festival circuit. We also have NFF alumni Stephen Gallacher back with his latest short 'Blackpool'. Shane Meadows says it's "A cracking short that punches harder than the usual drama....
