HYMENOPTERA by Ian Wilson The wasps, bees, ants and sawflies are a huge group of fascinating insects which includes some that live in huge colonies as well as many that are solitary. We will look at their behaviour and structure before putting some under the microscope to learn more.
UNDERWOOD CUP A competition for members to submit pictorial images on any subject. Up to three projected images allowed per member. Round 3 of 3.
CRITIQUING NIGHT Members should bring in up to 2 digital images or prints on the night. The images can be any they would like critiqued, or maybe ones they are thinking of entering into a future competition. Each person in turn will be asked to critique an image and to discuss how it may be improved. This isn't a competition but an opportunity to practice critiquing and to learn from our own and each other's images. 2 of 4 critique evenings.
A TOUR OF CHURCHES IN NORTHERN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE by Paul Hayes The annual Ride and Stride day gives a great opportunity to explore many churches that are either disused or not normally open outside service times. A photographic exploration of the architectural, interesting or historic features found at many of the churches.
