EXPLORING THE SOCIETY'S COLLECTIONS. The society has a number of important collections including butterflies, shells, eggs, sands, microscope slides, rocks, minerals and Northamptonshire fossils. This is a great opportunity to look at our extensive collections, to draw, study them or just appreciate their beauty. Also, if you wish to assist us conserving or documenting you would be welcome. On cooler days door may be closed, please ring doorbell to top right.
MONOPOD COMPETITION The last meeting of our programme is our annual set subject competition depicting religious subjects from any faith. A competition held in honour of Mrs Humfrey’s interest in church photography. Up to three entries per person, any mix of prints or projected images. Trophy Presentations. The evening concludes with the presentation of the annual trophies.
HISTORIC LANDSCAPE AND RURAL IMAGES. The society has in its collections a number of photographic albums dating back from the creation of the society in 1876. This is a selection of those images, featuring landscapes, vistas and buildings from around England.
