EXPLORING THE SOCIETY'S COLLECTIONS. The society has important collections including butterflies, shells, eggs, sands, microscope slides, rocks, minerals and Northamptonshire fossils. This is a great opportunity to look at our extensive collections, to draw, study them or just appreciate their beauty. Also, if you wish to assist us conserving or documenting you would be welcome.

BOTANY - PART 4 - THE FLOWER by Mike Asquith. A look at the structures of the various parts of the angiosperm flower, from prepared slides and fresh material. Feel free to bring your own samples to explore under the microscope.

IMPROMPTU PHOTOGRAPHIC NIGHTS. Come along with your camera gear. Subject to be agreed on the night and may be Post Processing (Photoshop), Still Life, Studio Flash, AV, or anything else you would like to cover. Guests are very welcome to join us where we will gladly assist with photographic queries.

SPECIAL OUTING BY VINTAGE 1946 EX-NORTHAMPTON CORPORATION TRANSPORT BUS by arrangement with Northampton Transport Heritage. Northampton to Wellingborough for a visit to the Museum and the nearby Swanspool Gardens. Donations towards the upkeep of all NTH historic vehicles will be invited. Members and friends welcomed.
