EXPLORING THE SOCIETY'S COLLECTIONS. The society has important collections including butterflies, shells, eggs, sands, microscope slides, rocks, minerals and Northamptonshire fossils. This is a great opportunity to look at our extensive collections, to draw, study them or just appreciate their beauty. Also, if you wish to assist us conserving or documenting you would be welcome.

HYMENOPTERA by Ian Wilson The wasps, bees, ants and sawflies are a huge group of fascinating insects which includes some that live in huge colonies as well as many that are solitary. We will look at their behaviour and structure before putting some under the microscope to learn more.

AN ABERRANT BOTANIST IN GREECE by Sean Karley A highly illustrated tour of the flora (and some fauna) of Greece with occasional diversions to some of the landmarks the country is famous for.
