Is it better to have a pig’s heart that works … than a human heart that doesn’t? Cameron is thirteen, and all he wants is to be normal – have friends, go to school, and dive to the bottom of his local swimming pool. But he desperately needs a heart transplant and time is running out. When he’s finally offered a new heart, Cameron must choose how far he’ll go to get his life back. From the multi-award-winning writer Malorie Blackman OBE, author of Noughts and Crosses, this brilliant novel is brought to life in a brand-new adaptation by Winsome Pinnock, and is directed by Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu in a Unicorn co-production with Sheffield Theatres and Children’s Theatre Partnership. After a sell-out 2023 UK tour and extended run in London’s West End, Taskmaster loser Nick Mohammed returns as his critically acclaimed alter-ego Mr. Swallow with a brand new show. Show Pony has been described by Mr. Swallow as “payback for everyone who didn’t come to the last tour” and will cover everything from not having his own sitcom to not having his own sitcom… and everything in between (critical race theory). As per – expect magic, music and a whole load of brand new mistakes. Nick Mohammed is one of the UK’s most celebrated comedians, actors and writers. Nick has received feverish critical acclaim for his previous Mr. Swallow shows Dracula, Houdini and A Christmas Carol-ish… alongside his first UK tour The Very Best & Worst of Mr. Swallow. Mr. Swallow has appeared in Dictionary Corner on numerous episodes of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, with clips of his performances quickly going viral, along with entertaining the great and the good at the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards, with frankly terrifying results! Nick plays Nate in Apple TV’s hit multi award-winning series Ted Lasso, for which he was nominated twice for Outstanding Supporting Actor at the Emmy Awards. He has recently been seen starring in Sally Wainwright’s Renegade Nell (Disney+) and Steven Moffat’s Douglas...
The UK’s biggest country music export The Shires have announced an intimate acoustic tour for 2025. The two of us tour will see Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes tour the length and breadth of the UK performing all their classic tracks. The Shires achievements speak for themselves: three consecutive UK Top 3 albums, four #1 UK Country albums, 100 million+ streams, two Gold-certified records, and countless sold-out headline shows, including filling the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. The Shires first broke through in 2014 with their single Nashville Grey Skies, a playful song about Britain needing its own country scene. And that’s something which they helped happen, starting with their 2015 debut Brave, which became the first ever Top 10 album by a UK country music artist. That success continued with a succession of hit albums: 2016’s My Universe, 2018’s Accidentally On Purpose, 2020’s Good Years and 2022’s 10 Year Plan. Their authenticity saw them embraced by the Nashville scene immediately, leading to two CMA Awards, touring highlights including C2C Festival and shows as guests to Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, The Corrs and more.
