UK Pink Floyd Experience
Royal and Derngate Theatre 19-21 Guildhall Road, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN1 1DPUK Pink Floyd Experience Celebrating 30 years since the iconic ‘PULSE’ tour, this highly authentic show recreates the atmosphere of Floyd live – featuring top-flight musicians, a stunning light show and over two hours of incredible music. The new show for 2024 includes many songs from The PULSE set, featuring tracks from ‘The Division Bell’, ‘The Wall’, ‘Animals’, ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ and ‘Wish You Were Here’. The “Syd song” for 2024 is ‘Astronomy Domine’. Also included is the much requested ‘Not Now John’ from ‘The Final Cut’. Come and share the passion for Pink Floyd’s music, in our true celebration of all things Floyd!
Actors Company: Another Bloody Murder
Royal and Derngate Theatre 19-21 Guildhall Road, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN1 1DPGhosts walking the corridors and crows who think they are ravens – join the Royal & Derngate Actors Company as they solve Another Bloody Murder. Written and directed by Scott Bradley (The Caucasian Chalk Circle), this brand new whodunnit draws on the best capers of country house detective stories, with a twist. Inept Inspector Cluedo, his endlessly patient and long-suffering sergeant, Officer Joan, and a colourful and rather odd collection of residents and guests navigate their way through mayhem, mishaps and murder. So – Whodunnit? The Bluff Colonel? The Heiress? The Butler? Will Inspector Cluedo ever solve the case of the disappearing Duchess? Is he even in the right house? Drawing on the silliest of comedy traditions, the Actors Company blend the nation’s favourite mystery traditions with downright farce. This show contains adult themes, including some comedy violence and sexual references.
