The Theatre Chipping Norton and Selladoor Worldwide present Reduced Shakespeare Company in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield. The Theatre Chipping Norton and Selladoor Worldwide present a new version of the West End classic – rebooted and reimagined for 2026. All 37 plays. Three actors. One wildly funny show. The worldwide comedy hit returns with a brand-new, updated version of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), a fast, furious and gloriously absurd sprint through all of the Bard’s tragedies, comedies and histories. Expect Hamlet performed backwards, Titus Andronicus as a YouTube cooking tutorial, and all of the History plays turned into a chaotic football match where the crown is kicked from king to king. Throw in lightning-fast costume changes, sword fights, outrageous improvisation and the result is a wildly inventive and hilarious celebration of Shakespeare. After nine years in London’s West End, two TV specials and performances in over 20 countries, the Reduced Shakespeare Company bring their legendary Shakespeare spoof to a new generation of audiences.

A shocking assassination in the heart of London. In a bizarre mix of high-stakes global politics and radioactive villainy, a man pays with his life. At this time of global crises and a looming new Cold War, A Very Expensive Poison sends us careering through the shadowy world of international espionage from Moscow to Mayfair. Lucy Prebble (Enron, The Effect) brings a shocking story to the stage, adapted from the book by Luke Harding, with an astute mix of real events, vaudeville and thriller. Presented by the 3rd year BA Acting students from the University of Northampton

In an oak-panelled room in a rural Oxford gastropub, ten young undergraduates with cut-glass vowels and deep pockets are meeting, intent on restoring their right to rule – and on getting totally “chatueaued”. Members of The Riot Club, an elite student dining society, the fraternity starts to fray when they discover they’re a guinea-fowl short and the prostitute they’ve hired is suddenly banished. An apparent spoof on Oxford’s notorious Bullingdon Club, whose past members include Boris Johnson, George Osborne and David Cameron, Posh is a satirical play about power, politics and privilege, and how these elements interact within British institutions.
