Northamptonshire Guild of Designer Craftsmen are having an exhibition of work in the Barwell Room at 78 Derngate, Northampton, UK. Saturday 25th October until 21st December.opening times are 10am until 4pm. Please check opening days before you travel to the exhibition.there will be a collection of crafts including jewellery, ceramics, wood, basketry, textile accessories & glass. ideal Xmas gift ideas to suit all pockets 78 Derngate is a unique venue in Northampton. it's the only Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed house south of the border of Scotland. it's now a museum and art gallery housing some fabulous artwork and cafe. From prehistoric treasures to modern marvels, 100 remarkable objects reveal the people, events, and industries that shaped the county, each telling a unique story of its cultural, social, and economic heritage. Northampton Museum & Art Gallery Saturday 20 September - Sunday 22 February 2026 This exhibition has been shaped by an extraordinary network of 51 guest curators from across the county, each bringing their own expertise and local knowledge to the project. These dedicated individuals, from historians and collectors to community groups, have worked alongside the museum team to select objects and craft narratives. Their collaborative efforts ensure this exhibition truly reflects the breadth of Northamptonshire's heritage, guided by those who know their communities best.

After a barnstorming 2024 which saw Myra sell-out venues across the UK and Ireland with her critically acclaimed show ‘Be Well’, registered empath Myra DuBois returns to the stage with a brand-new show Cosmic Empath. The empath strikes BACK! Boldly caring where compassion has never cared before. An adventure giving you time (and space) to heal. When questioned on her upcoming tour, Ms DuBois stated: “Most people would spend some time idling on the shores of some far off semi-private island after enduring the workload 2024 dumped on my plate, but not me! How could I desert my public, right as I need them most? I’ve consulted my own wellness guide, the very Reverend Dr Guru Malcolm, and he tells me that right now every star of the cosmos is looking at me with expectation.
