In three concerts across three venues in the heart of Arnold's hometown we celebrate the full breadth of Malcolm Arnold's musical output from string quartets and fanfares to cantatas to overtures. Each event is £10 per person and FREE to students and under 18s. 50 years on from their debut album, art pop and soft rock legends 10cc have announced an extensive UK tour for Spring 2024.  The announcement comes whilst the band is currently on a major tour of Australia and New Zealand. The band continue to be one of our most loved and remain a critics favourite – “Note perfect!” proclaimed the Daily Telegraph; the Arts Desk confirming that “10cc’s songbook, full of fun and love and rage, remains blessedly the same”. Having sold over 15 million albums in the UK alone, 10cc have eleven Top 10 hits to their name, including three No 1 singles – Rubber Bullets, Dreadlock Holiday and the ubiquitous I’m Not In Love – along with Donna, Art For Art’s Sake, Good Morning Judge, The Things We Do For Love, I’m Mandy Fly Me, and The Wall Street Shuffle. Led by Graham Gouldman, the live band comprises Rick Fenn (lead guitar, bass, vocals), Paul Burgess (drums, percussion) – both of whom have been with 10cc since the early years – Keith Hayman (keyboards, guitars, bass, vocals) and Iain Hornal (vocals, percussion, guitar, keyboards).

Seven months ago, Saba walked out of her GCSE mocks and didn’t come back. Her friends don’t understand why. Now, on prom night, Saba’s finally made contact, challenging her friends to track her down via a series of cryptic clues. But when the friends are finally reunited, Saba is different. The way she sees the world has changed. And what she’s asking of her friends… is it more than they can give? This new play written by Danusia Samal, directed by Anna Simpson, and performed by the Royal & Derngate Young Company, asks probing questions about the responsibility of the individual in a troubled globalised world, as well as growing up, growing apart, and how far should you go for what you think is right. The Young Company will also be performing Saba’s Swim as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival.
