If you’re looking for a way to unwind after a busy week or just want to make some new crafting friends, come along with your chosen craft to these friendly informal sessions. They take place every Friday lunchtime in the Northampton Museum & Art Gallery lower café area. Drop in – no booking required but please purchase a drink or something to eat from the cafe.

The Eccentric Englishman will be 'in the pink' at its St Giles Street Tea Rooms & Bar, on Wednesday 9th August, as Lady Muck plays host to a very special Afternoon Tea in aid of "Breast Cancer Now', the UK's leading breast cancer charity. Not only will you be able to dive into Lady Muck's delicious, and most generous, Afternoon Teas but we're holding a magnificent Raffle with some simply glorious prizes, generously donated by local businesses. We are so grateful to them and we invite you to join us and enter into the spirit of the day. It's free to attend but all donations will be graciously received. All you have to do is buy your Raffle Ticket to help The Eccentric Englishman raise oodles of money to help "Breast Cancer Now" support hundreds of families in their time of need. https://breastcancernow.org/. Free – Donations welcome Pop into the museum on wednesday afternoons for fun hands-on activities for families. These activities are free of charge (donations welcome) with a different theme each week. We will also be joined by the Northamptonshire Central Libraries Team who will be providing storytelling, making activities and even a chance to take part in the libraries summer Lego challenge. Suitable for families. Drop in.

Live Lounge Sessions Something new to our little venue, but we’re launching our live lounge sessions with these corkers. Anyone who’s ever heard these two duet will confirm you’re in for a real treat. Music lovers will love it, the evening will start at 7pm and go on until 10pm. Due to the intimacy of the night we will be selling tickets, included in the price will be you entertainment and a sharing platter for your party, at £25 pp you can’t go wrong.

Singing nursery rhymes and doing the actions are great for interaction, communication skills and motor skills - and most of all, it's fun! Please note that the Rhymetime sessions will be run on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day and it will not be possible to book in advance. Time To Share is the perfect activity for children of all ages and their grown ups! Each month we will focus on a new theme and each week we will focus on a new book. There will be a mixture of fiction and non-fiction books with matching crafts or activities! This is a free drop in event.
