Directed and co-choreographed by Britain’s best loved TV Judge, Craig Revel Horwood, Strictly Ballroom: The Musical follows arrogant, rebellious young ballroom dancer, Scott Hastings (Kevin Clifton). When his radical and daring dance style sees him fall out of favour with Australian Federation, he must dance with beginner, Fran (Maisie Smith). Together they find the courage to defy tradition and discover that to win, your steps don’t need to be strictly ballroom! From the early mass-dissemination of biblical stories to highly prized limited edition art works, prints have been used to communicate ideas across the globe. The subtlety, variety and expressiveness of the print medium secured its enduring appeal as a form of individual expression long after more mechanical means of reproduction emerged. This series explores the history of the artist’s print, a subject that leaves lasting impressions to this day, and runs alongside Northampton Museum and Art Gallery’s exhibition showcasing the works of print-maker John McGowan. Lectures will focus on an artwork from the museum’s art collection, providing either an exclusive chance to view it or highlighting works on display. Includes tea/coffee and biscuits. The Crowd Show is a comedy/theatre/spoken word show about crowds, people and connection. The Crowd Show is a show suitable for anybody who has been in a crowd or wants to be in the crowd for this show. Rob Auton is an award-winning writer, actor and podcaster, named the “Brian Cox of Comedy” by the Guardian. Rob has written eight hit Edinburgh Fringe shows, which have led to nationwide tours and television/radio appearances. Rob has had four collections of poetry and illustrations published by Burning Eye Books and Harper Collins. In 2020, Rob started The Rob Auton Daily Podcast which went on to amass over two million listens and win a gold award for Best Daily Podcast at the British Podcast Awards.

Pure Genius are a 5/6 piece party band playing music from all decades and genres. Fronted by Northamptonshire's finest vocalist along with a slick band and tight harmonies.

THE MERSEY BEATLES ARE READY TO ROCK THE OLD SAVOY – HOME OF THE DECO THEATRE ‘Hit-packed celebration at historic Northampton venue’ The world’s favourite Liverpool-born tribute to The Beatles are set to ‘Get Back’ to a famous Northampton venue to celebrate the greatest band of all time.

We will watch a pre-recorded talk to the Royal Meteorological Society by Dr Chloe Brimcombe, Heatwave Researcher at the University of Reading. There were many record-breaking and unprecedented heatwaves around the world in 2022 including Argentina, Australia, India, Pakistani, China and across Europe and parts of the US. This makes this a very important year to review in terms of not only the meteorology of heatwaves but also in terms of impacts.
