NN and University of Northampton (UON) are delighted to present ‘Illusion, Interaction, Introspection’, an exhibition by the collective Atelier17, final year BA Photography students of UON. This exhibition is a result of their final creative works produced over the course of their final year.

Following the overwhelming response to The 1980 Tour, Midge Ure and Band Electronica are delighted to return to Northampton with the Voice & Visions tour, celebrating 40 years since the release of Ultravox’s Rage In Eden and Quartet albums. At the start of 1981, Ultravox were laying their claim to be one of the defining acts of the 80s following the global success of hit Vienna. Heading back into the studio the same year invigorated, they recorded their second album with Ure as frontman, Rage in Eden, which hit the Top 5 in the UK album charts. Quartet, their third album with Ure, came in quick succession in 1982 with production from legendary Beatles producer George Martin. Continuing the band’s impressive chart run, it became their third Top 10 album, featuring four Top 20 singles including the anthem Hymn.

On Thursday 25th May the exhibition will open its doors later from 6pm-8pm for a special Opening Reception, where all members of Atelier17 will be present to talk about their work in more detail.
Boyzlife is the supergroup formed by long time pals Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden who previously appeared as members of ’90s and ’00s boybands Boyzone and Westlife, respectively. In May 2023, they will be heading out on tour, which will see them perform songs from their original material studio album, ‘Old School’, which was released last year, plus all the classic Boyzone and Westlife hits.

The Proclaimers are heading to Northampton as part of their 2023 world tour.
