have announced details of a major UK tour in November 2024. The Sheffield five-piece, fronted by Jon McClure, will embark on a nationwide run of 15 shows, opening in Lincoln on November 8th and concluding at Manchester Academy on November 28th, with a London show at the Electric Ballroom on the 20th. Speaking about the tour announcement, lead singer Jon McClure says “I’m made up to be going on tour again – it’s been too long since we last played any shows.  Having toured Heatwave In The Cold North a couple of months before its release I’m looking forward to playing more songs from that album and maybe testing out a few from the next one.”

Musical maestro Jools Holland and his famous Rhythm & Blues Orchestra return to Royal & Derngate with special guests Marc Almond and Toby Lee. From his years in the internationally acclaimed duo Soft Cell to the successful solo career that followed, Marc Almond has sold over 30 million records worldwide with his list of hit songs including Say Hello, Wave Goodbye, Touch and, of course, Tainted Love. No Christmas is complete without a visit to Father Christmas, and the BID is delighted to be bringing Santa’s Grotto back to Grosvenor Shopping Northampton this festive season. Important Information Pre-booking is required. All money from this event will be donated to charity. There will be a £1 charge to secure the booking per family, using PayPal.  6 tickets per half hour will be sold to allow a provision of 5 minutes with Santa. The last family to arrive for their half hour session will have to wait 25 minutes. Families will be able to take their own photos with Santa. Each child will receive a gift.
