Visualise was formed several years ago, by like-minded artists who enjoy creating diverse work with stitch as the common thread. The exhibition will also feature work by internationally known textile artist and Embroiderers Guild member Nigel Cheney who is the current mentor to Visualise. We will be hosting a Tidy Day on Wednesday 2nd April from 9.30 am - 12.30 pm. We will be meeting outside All Saints Church if you would like to join us. This is a great opportunity for businesses to demonstrate and exercise their corporate responsibilities along with networking with like-minded individuals. The day will consist of litter-picking with light-touch graffiti removal. It is hoped that this period will also see the start of further focused activity around graffiti.

Extinction affects us all and one in ten of our wildlife in the UK is critically endangered. Northampton Museum & Art Gallery Saturday 29 March - Sunday 11 May 2025 Scientists have identified five periods of mass extinction over the geological record and the question is now being asked: are we in a sixth? This exhibition addresses this fascinating topic and journeys through the demise of the dinosaurs and marine reptiles, death of the ice age mammoths and the impact of humans on the dodo.
125th Anniversary year Every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 6th April to 28th September 2 - 5pm Enjoy live performances from local bands and musicians at the Abington Park Bandstand, every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from April through to September.* Bring your own chairs, picnic blankets/rugs and relax within the picturesque surroundings of Abington Park. This year's performances start on 6th April and run through to 28th September. The National Theatre Connections Festival is a celebration of young people, theatre and the importance of access to the arts. Each year the National Theatre commissions a collection of new plays for young people to perform, bringing together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow. Royal & Derngate hosts the largest and most diverse of the regional festivals that take place across the country, and we are delighted to welcome hundreds of young people to Northampton again this Spring. Royal and Derngate’s own Young Company: Acting Group will be taking part in the festival performing Saba’s Swim by Danusia Samal.
