Get ready to hop into spring with Northampton’s Easter Riddle Trail From Saturday 5th April to Tuesday 22nd April, you are invited to embark on an egg-citing adventure through the town centre, solving brain-teasing riddles while exploring local businesses. Simply download the LoyalFree app and scan the QR codes at each spot to uncover the answers to the riddles. Complete the trail to receive a delicious chocolate treat and you’ll also be entered into a prize draw to win one of two £50 vouchers to spend locally! Cyber security is not only an IT problem. It impacts every high street business, small independent, and individual, as well as banks and big businesses. It’s increasingly important you understand the risks you face, and how best to prepare and respond. Northampton Town Centre BID is staging a new event aimed at business owners in the town centre – giving YOU the chance to hear first-hand what cyber security means for you and your business. This is an opportunity to hear from experts as they ‘demystify’ the subject of cyber security, and spell out in simple terms, what you can do to protect your data and keep you and your business safe. We will be running the event in the Gatherings unit of Grosvenor Shopping Centre, on Wednesday, April 30. · The morning session will run from 10am to noon · The afternoon session will run from 2pm to 4pm. Both sessions contain the same content, so you only need to attend one session. Heather Francis is the Digital and Technology Delivery Manager within the Office of the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner and runs the Northamptonshire Cyber Security Forum, in conjunction with Northamptonshire Police. The Pumpkin Patch

Meet our friendly scarecrows to collect your Pumpkin Hunt map in the Market Square. Follow the trail around the town centre to find all the hidden pumpkins – then return to the Pumpkin Patch to pick a pumpkin from the patch to take home and carve!   How it works Collect your trail map and pumpkin bag to start your adventure. Your map will show you where to go and what to look for. Follow the trail Look for the Pumpkin Patch stickers in shop windows – each one marks a trail stop! At every stop, spot a hidden pumpkin and collect a letter! Return to the Patch Once you’ve found them all, head back to the Pumpkin Patch to collect your pumpkin, take a photo and enjoy the autumn atmosphere.   Prize Draw ! No Christmas is complete without a visit to Father Christmas, and the BID is delighted to be bringing Santa's Grotto back to Grosvenor Shopping Northampton this festive season. Important Information Pre-booking is required. All proceeds from this event will be split between two charities being Northamptonshire Toy Library and Rockin Roadrunner. There will be a £2 charge to secure the booking per family, using PayPal. Families will be able to take their own photos with Santa. Each child will receive a gift. Northamptonshire Toy Library would also be appreciative of new/used toy donations to support their work. These can be left at the Grotto for them.
