This is the evening where we look at member’s photos taken for this year’s Northamptonshire project.
Using ready-prepared cultures members will have an opportunity to study and photographic these amazing and fascinating protozoan organisms
N The last meeting of our programme is our annual set subject competition depicting religious subjects from any faith. A competition held in honour of Mrs Humfrey’s interest in church photography. Up to three entries per person, any mix of prints or projected images.
We are a society in Northamptonshire dating back to 1876. We encompass many subjects including astronomy, geology, microscopy, meteorology, photography and many others. See displays and demonstrations by many of our sections in our purpose-built rooms. Bring a plant or item to look at under a microscope, look at the sun through our purpose made solarscope (weather dependent!). Bring a rock or fossil to be identified and look at our extensive collections.
When: Wed, 31 July, 7:30pm – 9:30pm Description: IMPROMPTU PHOTOGRAPHIC NIGHTS. Come along with your camera gear. Subject to be agreed on the night and may be Post Processing (Photoshop), Still Life, Studio Flash, AV, or anything else you would like to cover.
