    Join us bright and early on Easter Sunday for our Eucharist Service. Easter Day marks the beginning of fifty days of celebrating Jesus’ resurrection. Join for a celebratory service where we give takes for Jesus and the sacrifice he made for the world. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. John 3.16 Afterwards join us for a tea or coffee and pastries. Then afterwards go home and eat all the chocolate

  • Palm Sunday Service

    Join us for a wonderful Eucharist Service in our medieval round church. Palm Sunday is celebrated one week before Easter Day. It marks the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, an event that is recorded in all four Gospels. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, while the crowds waved palm branches and shouted “Hosanna!†(an exclamation of praise) Afterwards join us for a tea and Hot Cross Buns.

    This March The Church Of The Holy Sepulchre is inviting you to experience the church in a whole new light, candlelight and torchlight to be exact. This is your chance to see this 900 year old unique church as most people don't with the lights off. Illuminated by candlelight you will see details that are missed in the daylight and encounter this sacred space in a more intimate, atmospheric way. From mason marks to witches marks and medieval graffiti there is so much to explore. Please bring your own torch.

  • Christmas Eve Carols by Candlelight

    Please join us for this year’s Christmas Carol Service by Candlelight at 4pm on Christmas Eve. A mixture of singing and readings about the Christmas story this service is just lovely. The service starts in candlelight moving to a lighted service then back to candlelight. After there will be homemade mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate. Enter via the West Door ( Sheep Street) or the South Porch ( Church Lane). Arrive early for a seat as last year it was packed.

The meeting and dance between these instruments is so unique and something you will never forget  Tickets are selling fast, so don't wait, let me know if you would like any put aside. Bring a friend and have the most amazing sound experience!  You can get tickets (£25) on the door if there are any left. It is a,seated event but here will be space to lie down like in a sound bath if you would prefer that experience. Please bring whatever you need to make yourself comfortable if so. From royal visits and historic battles to stained glass windows and the peaceful Soldier’s Chapel, there’s so much to see and celebrate.

    Summer Open Days - June- September Every Saturday at 2 p.m. for 2 hours Please note that this event will not be taking place between 28 Jun 2025 and 5 Jul 2025 Church Of The Holy Sepulchre  Sheep Street/Church Lane Northampton, NN1 3NL, United Kingdom Our Medieval Round Church has been welcoming visitors since 1100 AD and in 2024 she is set to fling open her doors again. On Saturdays afternoons from 2pm-4pm from June to September, visitors can learn all about this fascinating church and the historic treasures she contains. (Please note there is no Open Day on 28th June) If only these walls could talk, I wonder what they would say? For the moment we will let our historians do the talking. The Holy Sepulchre is the oldest building in Northampton, surviving the great fire, one of only four medieval round churches in the U.K., and has the longest aisle in Northampton. Historic battles have taken place here, famous people have been married here and royalty has visited. The stained glass is beautiful, the Soldier’s Chapel delightful and the stories even more intriguing. Join our volunteers and historians every Saturday from June to September to find out more.
