    Join us on the red carpet for our evening Opening Gala to celebrate our 5th birthday - with this year's theme Still Making A Scene. Join us to celebrate the Rebels and Revolutionaries, Misfits and Mavericks, Creatives and Changemakers of Northamptonshire and beyond - be part of our scene for the night, a place where people can come together to connect, create and celebrate. Working with filmmakers, artists and our wonderful audiences, we’ve built a vibrant creative scene locally over the past 5 years and we hope to continue to be the home of film, creativity and connection in Northants for more years to come… So let's party and watch some amazing films. Dressing up is encouraged - Make A Scene - but any get up is fine - be comfortable and be you. Your ticket includes a glass of prosecco which can be swapped on the night for a beer or soft drink. If you are under 18yrs you will automatically be given a soft drink. Proof of age may be required so bring your ID!   • Big Battlefield Walk Weekends – The Battle of Northampton

    To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Register of Historic Battlefields in England the Battlefields Trust and its partner organisations are arranging a series of battlefield walks in September 2025 to coincide with Heritage Open Days. Join the Nothamptonshire Battlefields Society for a walk across the field of this important Wars of the Roses battle, which saw the Lancastrians defeated and King Henry VI captured by the Yorkists.     Enjoy a day our for all the family with vintage, classic and specialist cars in the grounds of the historic Abbey. Sun 7th September, 11am-4pm Entry £2 per person, pre-book here Under 3s free If you would like to exhibit your classic car on the day then we’re offering Early Bird pitches for £10 here (usual price £12.50 – available until 30th April 2025). Enjoy a day out for all the family with vintage, classic and specialist cars in the grounds of the historic Abbey. Alongside this the historic house will be open so that you can find out more about the Abbey’s exciting and turbulent 900 years of history in more detail (entry fee applies).

  • Community Open Day – Delapre Abbey

    Northamptonshire Police and Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, along with the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Danielle Stone and partners, are inviting you to join us at one of our Community Open Days this July! Come along and meet your local emergency service personnel as they demonstrate what they do on a daily basis to keep the community safe. Climb onboard our Joint Command Unit, get an up close look at the police operational kit, and see some of our police dogs in action - with a chance to meet PD Socks and PD Bonnie! Whether you're interested in joining the emergency services or just want to find out more about what we do, there's something for everyone at our Community Open Days, so come along to your closest event. We are holding two open days, one in the north of the county and one in the west: Saturday, July 19, 2025, 11am to 4pm - Wicksteed ParkSunday, July 27, 2025, 11am to 4pm - Delapre Abbey Further information will be announced closer to the time.
