Sessions to introduce rhymes and songs to your child to encourage interaction and develop communication skills. Please note that the Bounce and Rhyme sessions will be run on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day and it will not be possible to book in advance. Parents and carers will be able to pick up a free ticket at the reception desk on Wednesday morning at 10 am. This event is for under 1s and non-walkers only.

Every Tuesday between 9am and 10am will be our quieter hour to enable our customers with sensory needs and their families to enjoy Northamptonshire Central Library. We appreciate our customers' support in minimising noise during our quieter hour. Fancy a game of D&D? Or maybe you would to try something a little different? Try our Gaming Club hosted at Northampton Central Library in our Young Adults Area. This event is suitable for people aged 14+

Singing nursery rhymes and doing the actions are great for interaction, communication skills and motor skills - and most of all, it's fun! Please note that the Rhymetime sessions will be run on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day and it will not be possible to book in advance. Parents and Carers can collect a ticket from the front desk on the Friday morning at 10am.
