Pop Will Eat Itself released critically acclaimed album Delete Everything – their first for 10 years – in October 2025 and smashed through a huge tour to celebrate its release. Still riding that wave, they’re back with a run of dates in May 2026 playing a mix of old and new favourites.   Renowned for their energetic and rebellious live shows, inflamed with incendiary passion and sonic noise pollution, the 2026 PWEI line-up features original 1986 members Graham Crabb (vocals/samples) and Adam Mole (guitar/keys/samples) plus long-time comrades Mary Byker (vocals), Davey Bennett (bass) and Cliff Hewitt (drums).

Summer Gig 2026 Northampton College Music Department is pleased to showcase their student talent again, in celebration of the forthcoming end of this academic year, with an evening gig on Thursday 14th May 2026 at The Roadmender. Students from many different courses within our Music Department will be performing, on 3 different stages, with a wide range of genres presented, from acoustic pop through to electronic, rock & metal – there will be something for everyone.

Is there a more iconic Cuban album than Buena Vista Social Club’s eponymous debut? Winning the Grammy for Best Traditional Tropical Latin Album, it remains a high watermark not just for Cuban music but world music as a whole, having been only one of two non-English speaking albums to be included in Rolling Stone’s 500 greatest albums of all time list. Doing this album any sort of justice is no easy task, but there isn’t anyone better than Sambroso Noda, the beating heart of London’s Cuban community and flourishing music scene. He has whipped up a bonafide ‘all star’ group of Cuban musicians who will pay their own unique and loving tribute to the landmark album. The 7-piece all star band promise to mesmerise the crowd with their combination of Cuban Son, Latin Jazz and Rumba, from Cuba’s Golden era.
