Come join us for a fun-filled day of creativity and inspiration at The Creative Place Northampton! Our Week of Words Saturday Sessions will feature interactive workshops, readings for young ones, and writing exercises to get your creative juices flowing. Whether you're a seasoned wordsmith or just starting out, there's something for everyone at Saturday Sessions.

What is Northampton Made Of? – Film workshop.

The Creative Place Northampton Market Square

Come learn about Northampton's unique film industry and discover what makes our town so special in this hands-on workshop! We're producing a short animated/digital art film to mark the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of Northampton, and we're inviting any Northampton resident to get involved. Doesn't matter whether you have any relevant experience or not. The project is supported by West Northamptonshire Council. Come along to this, the first meeting, and see what it's all about. The Creative Place is one of the new kiosks on the market square (with seats and heating!). The film will premiere in September 2025.

This is a screening in The Creative Place, the smallest arts centre in the world. It is based on Northampton Market Square and only has 10 seats. Therefore we may run additional screenings of this film on this day. We are a very small space so if you have a large wheelchair or require space for mobility aids etc. please get in touch before booking so we can ensure we can make your visit a pleasurable one! And if we're too full, we can run another screening to accommodate demand.
