Graffiti focused Tidy Day – Friday 15th March 2024

A tidy day of action is planned for Friday 15th March, focused on graffiti removal.

As part of the national Great British Spring Clean, taking place from 15 – 31 March we will be arranging a morning of action focussing on graffiti removal within the public realm.

Back for its ninth year, the Great British Spring Clean is the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign.  The Great British Spring Clean and Great Big School Clean 2024 will take place from 15 – 31 March.

BID Tidy Day Plans

The morning will begin at 9 am, assembling at All Saints Church. Participants will be broken into small groups and provided with the relevant materials and PPE.

Leading up to our Tidy Day, we are reporting all graffiti within the town centre. A map of locations will be and each group will be led by a BID representative.

We will be assisted with support from other key partners and stakeholders and Veolia will also be providing support.

Reporting Graffiti

Veolia provides support directly to businesses with graffiti removal. Businesses that wish to have graffiti removed are required to provide an image and report the location online or via the West Northants Council app. Details of both can be found below,

Private and commercial businesses are also required to complete and return the attached indemnity form to grant permission for Veolia to attend. Completed forms must be emailed to Veolia directly, within 7 days of the Grafitti report.
