Feel the Flow –Lisa Timmerman
We are delighted to welcome Lisa Timmerman, who returns, after 10 years, to 78 Derngate to display her evocative work in our newly refurbished galleries for her 5th solo exhibition: ‘Flow’.
For Lisa, the journey to this exhibition began in Burma Myanmar in 2016 and flowed through to a quote by Kabul Gibron: ‘Beauty is not in the face, beauty is a light in the heart.’ Since 2019 she has been working with oil, cold wax and other painting techniques, experimenting with ways to give the viewer their own lift and ‘light in the heart’ moment.
Enjoy the moving tranquillity of these paintings and reflect on the thoughts behind them at Lisa Timmerman’s exhibition entitled “Flow”. It runs from Wednesday April 3rd to June 29th in our Barwell Room and Mezzanine Galleries, open 10 am – 4.30 pm (closed Mondays). Free entry to exhibitions, all work for sale. Why not take the perfect opportunity and combine a visit to the exhibition together with a trip round the adjacent Charles Rennie Mackintosh House (for which there is an entry fee) gardens, restaurant and shop.
