Northampton Town and County Art Society – Northampton Museum and Art Gallery
Northampton Museum And Art Gallery 4-6 Guildhall Rd,, Northampton, Northamptonshire, United KingdomNorthampton Town and County Art Society are delighted to be able to return to Northampton Museum and Art Gallery. Thankfully with the return to normality, the 105th Annual exhibition will be Open, so as well as Members and Associate Members exhibiting, this exhibition will also include a selection of Non-Members work, allowing visitors a chance to see the wide variety of styles and subjects that such a group show offers.

Church of the Holy Sepulchre Sheep Street, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN1 2LYA national treasure, an icon of Northamptonshire and a building of international significance presents our visitors with the wow factor! The church has seen more than 150,000 visitors from around the world since 1982. Recent conservation of stained-glass windows and brilliant updating of the military ‘Soldiers Chapel’.

Northamptonshire Natural History Society & Field Club 10 Castilian Terrace, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN1 1LDWe are a society in Northamptonshire dating back to 1876. We encompass many subjects including astronomy, geology, microscopy, meteorology, photography and many others. See displays and demonstrations by many of our sections in our purpose-built rooms. Bring a plant or item to look at under a microscope, look at the sun through our purpose made solarscope (weather dependent!). Bring a rock or fossil to be identified and look at our extensive collections.

There will be history re-enactments, bringing to life the heritage of Northampton’s rich and varied history. The Moulton Morris Men will be performing and there will also be a chance to meet Northampton’s Mayor, Councillor Stephen Hibbert.

From paint, mixed media and collage, to glass, jewellery, ceramics, woodwork and textiles; there is something for everyone to appreciate and all the work is for sale. Taking part are: Katy Dynes (painting and illustration), Nadege Honey (handcrafted jewellery), Sarah Luke (glass),Claire Mycock (painting and mixed media), Joy Norman (textiles and paper),Colin Proctor (painting), Mark Puryer (wood), Emma Saul (painting and ceramics)and Katrina Solano (painting). These artists and makers' creations will fill all our galleries and there will be pieces to view in the gardens, too! A great way to spend half a day (or longer!) in Northampton, why not combine this with a visit to the heritage house and shop followed by light refreshments in The Dining Room!
