Matcha Candle making event Event Synopsis: Matcha Candle Making with Reverie Candle Company   Grandbies, in collaboration with the artisan fragrance experts at Reverie Candle Company, proudly hosted a sensory-rich, hands-on workshop centered around the art of candle making—with a unique twist: matcha-inspired scents. Held in an intimate and ambient setting, the event brought together a vibrant community of creatives, wellness enthusiasts, and scent lovers. Participants were guided through the full candle-making process, from blending fragrance oils to pouring and setting their very own matcha-infused soy wax candles. Reverie’s founder shared insights into the therapeutic properties of matcha and the mindfulness behind the craft, creating a truly immersive and calming experience.

Yoga & Wine Tasting

Join us for an evening of yoga & wine... Many of you will know Rin, one of our amazing team members who has been here with us since our first year here on St Giles Square. It just so happens that Rin is also a very talented yoga instructor, and will be swapping beer mats for yoga mats for this event.   Meet Rin and your fellow yoga-enthusiasts at V and B Northampton at 6pm for a tea and a chat, before beginning an hour-long yoga session in our beautiful upstairs space at 6.30. This will be followed by an immersive wine tasting, focusing on the experience of tasting, rather than the wine itself.   Please wear comfortable, yoga-friendly clothes, and if you do have a yoga mat - please bring it along, or you can borrow one of Rin's for a £3 fee.   We're really looking forward to seeing you for an immersive evening spent with like-minded people. All levels are welcome!

Bounce and Rhyme at Northamptonshire Central Library

Carnegie Talk – Ghosts of Northamptonshire – Adrian Perkins

Mr. Perkins is an author, who has spent the last thirty years recording & researching for his 'Ghost Detective' book series. Author of the Ghost Detective series of book’s, Adrian Perkins has spent the last thirty years recording eyewitness stories, and investigating new previously unpublished reports of ghost sightings and spirit activity. He is now writing number nine in the Ghost Detective series of books. During investigations he works with parapsychologists, historians, and archaeologists, to write stories that contain as much detail as possible.
