    CHINA CLAY by Sue Barker. The occurrence of China clay in Cornwall has been a driving force of the Cornish economy for 150 years. In this talk Sue will explore how the granite underlying the SW became changed into China clay, what China clay really is and the development of the China clay industry in Cornwall.

    MONOPOD COMPETITION. The last meeting of our programme is our annual set subject competition depicting religious subjects from any faith. A competition held in honour of Mrs Humfrey's interest in church photography. Up to three entries per person, any mix of prints or projected images. TROPHY PRESENTATIONS. The evening concludes with the presentation of the annual trophies.

    A SELECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS BY LYSBETH HUMFREY FRPS. The society were given a large number of original large format photographic prints by Lysbeth Humfrey. During this meeting we will be able to study a selection of these unique prints, mainly featuring ecclesiastical, scenic and family subjects.

    JWST AND THE PROCESS OF CREATING COLOUR IMAGES FROM THE DATA by Alyssa Pagan. Alyssa is a science visuals developer with the Space Telescope Science Institute located in Baltimore. The STSci is the science operations centre for the Hubble, James Webb and Nancy Grace space telescopes. She is responsible for putting the colour and sparkle into cosmic imagery.
