Brace yourselves for BBC Gastronaut Stefan Gates’ revolutionary, high-tech, highly-explosive new show, packed with outrageous science stunts. On the surface it’s a riot of disgusting experiments built to delight young audiences but under the bonnet it’s a brilliantly-constructed curriculum-driven adventure designed to inspire Britain’s kids with a lasting fascination for science. Expect enormous bottoms, f*rt machines, snot cocktails, vast whoopee cushions, pee-powered fireworks and ear-wax-oozing mannequins in this celebration of the fascinating bodily science essential to life. The show transforms complex biology, physics and chemistry into educational hilarity using Stef’s signature stunts and encyclopaedic science knowledge. Stefan Gates is an award-winning presenter of 20 TV series (including five for CBBC including Incredible Edibles, Gastrolab and Gastronuts),and a STEM author of 12 books (including Fartology and Science You Can Eat), and he’s internationally renowned for his clever, high-octane, highly-educational stage shows that inspire young audiences to fall in love with science. A bit about Princess Live, Our fairy-tale princesses are tired of their royal duties. So they decided to come together and make the ultimate princess girl group. PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS SHOW THERE IS A STRONG POSSIBILITY THAT PEOPLE MAY STAND UP AND DANCE AROUND YOU AND IN FRONT OF YOU Cinderella’s fairy godmother has given her a magic wand so Cinderella can give the other princesses a modern look. This is an all singing all dancing show with pop and musical theatre songs that will get all the family singing and dancing along. Imagine your favourite princesses but as you’ve never seen them before. At the end of the show there is an important message about accepting each other and teaching everyone to be kind and true to themselves which is such an important message to be spreading but we do it in a fun party environment! The showtimes and 1pm and 4pm The performance lasts 60 minutes with a meet and greet at the end

The narrative spans several decades, exploring themes of climate change, family dynamics, and personal responsibility. Sarah, a government minister, grapples with political and ethical dilemmas. Freya, pregnant and anxious about the future, seeks stability. Jasmine, the youngest, rebels against societal norms. Their estranged father, Robert, a climate scientist, adds complexity with his dire predictions and revelations. Earthquakes In London challenges audiences to reflect on their impact on the planet and the legacy they leave behind. It’s a powerful call to action, urging us to consider the consequences of our choices and the importance of hope and resilience in the face of global challenges. This production comes to Royal & Derngate from the 3rd Year BA Acting students at the University of Northampton.

A Dream by Chris Bush transports Shakespeare’s most beloved characters into the chaos of a modern-day hospital. This dramatic comedy is packed with songs, mischief, and mistaken identities, creating a vibrant and engaging experience for the audience. The play features numerous twists on familiar characters like Romeo and Jules, who are recovering from an accidental overdose, Antony and Cleo reminiscing in the waiting room, and Beatrice and Benedict bickering over a knee operation. As night falls in the A&E department, Pharmacist Puck begins to distribute medicine, leading to a series of whimsical and chaotic events reminiscent of a midsummer night’s madness. This production comes to Royal & Derngate from the 3rd Year BA Acting students at the University of Northampton.

Ever since they were first identified in the 1800s, dinosaurs have sparked the imagination of kids and adults alike and for the first time ever, the world renowned Natural History Museum have teamed up with Mark Thompson Productions to take you on a dinosaur adventure like no other. We’ll go on a pre-historic journey together to the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and watch the life-like dinosaurs come alive right on stage! Not only that, we’ll also find out more about fossils, time scales and how our planet has changed over hundreds of millions of years.
