SPECIALISED INSECT BODY PARTS - SESSION 3 by Kevin Rowley. Kevin will be showing us other marvels of evolution from within the insect kingdom, using specimens, fresh samples and slides from the society’s microscope slide collections.
Katie and Kerry arrive in Northampton as part of their tell-all tour! Having been friends for over twenty years, they are looking forward hitting the road together and sharing stories of marriage and divorce, bankruptcy, ‘I’m A Celebrity’, the importance of family, their constant press attention and turning their lives around. There will also be some song and dance and an opportunity for audience questions in an evening that promises to be warm, inspirational, motivational and lots of fun! There is also a limited opportunity to purchase a meet and greet pass which includes a photo (taken on your own phone / camera) with Katie and Kerry and one (flat) item personally signed by each of them. NB: Recommended age restriction of 18+ (16+ with parent or guardian)
This in-person course will cover all aspects of emergency planning with practical sessions to get hands-on experience of salvage techniques. Gain confidence in emergency planning and salvage for collections. This course will cover all aspects of emergency planning, including prevention measures, what makes a good emergency plan and how to protect and rescue collections. Practical sessions will give you the opportunity to get hands-on experience of salvage techniques. By the end of the session, attendees will: Understand why emergency planning is important Have gained knowledge to help you respond to an emergency situation for your collection Be able to update or write an emergency plan Have skills to protect, pack, and carry out basic first aid for collections This event supports the Arts Council England Ambition and Quality Investment Principle
