Summer Open Days - June- September Every Saturday at 2 p.m. for 2 hours Please note that this event will not be taking place between 28 Jun 2025 and 5 Jul 2025 Church Of The Holy Sepulchre  Sheep Street/Church Lane Northampton, NN1 3NL, United Kingdom Our Medieval Round Church has been welcoming visitors since 1100 AD and in 2024 she is set to fling open her doors again. On Saturdays afternoons from 2pm-4pm from June to September, visitors can learn all about this fascinating church and the historic treasures she contains. (Please note there is no Open Day on 28th June) If only these walls could talk, I wonder what they would say? For the moment we will let our historians do the talking. The Holy Sepulchre is the oldest building in Northampton, surviving the great fire, one of only four medieval round churches in the U.K., and has the longest aisle in Northampton. Historic battles have taken place here, famous people have been married here and royalty has visited. The stained glass is beautiful, the Soldier’s Chapel delightful and the stories even more intriguing. Join our volunteers and historians every Saturday from June to September to find out more. Mr. Perkins is an author, who has spent the last thirty years recording & researching for his 'Ghost Detective' book series. Author of the Ghost Detective series of book’s, Adrian Perkins has spent the last thirty years recording eyewitness stories, and investigating new previously unpublished reports of ghost sightings and spirit activity. He is now writing number nine in the Ghost Detective series of books. During investigations he works with parapsychologists, historians, and archaeologists, to write stories that contain as much detail as possible.
