Fancy a game of D&D? Or maybe you would to try something a little different? Try our Gaming Club hosted at Northampton Central Library in our Young Adults Area. This event is suitable for people aged 14+

Time To Share is the perfect activity for children of all ages and their grown ups! Each month we will focus on a new theme and each week we will focus on a new book. There will be a mixture of fiction and non-fiction books with matching crafts or activities! This is a free drop in event.

The Dazzling Diamonds are coming to Royal & Derngate with their brand-new comedy variety drag show. The show is packed with high energy dance routines, stunning live vocals, and side-splitting comedy sketches, not forgetting the spectacular costumes which are bound to leave your jaw on the floor! One NIght Stand performing at The Wig and Pen

Sessions to introduce rhymes and songs to your child to encourage interaction and develop communication skills. Please note that the Bounce and Rhyme sessions will be run on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day and it will not be possible to book in advance. Parents and Carers can collect a ticket from the front desk on the Friday morning at 10am. This event is for under 1s and non-walkers only.

We aim to bring people together to read, share stories and have fun. We use reading – whether books, magazines, newspapers, or anything else – to start everyone chatting. Our Reading Friends group meets on the 3rd Wednesday every month at Northampton Central Library to talk about reading and anything else that interests them. You don’t have to read anything before the session and everyone is welcome so come along, meet new people and share stories together. No booking is required and you don’t have to be a library member to take part.
