Films to make you smile! What better for a Sunday morning than just over an hour of joy and jokes. Oh, and of course drains. Animation, drama and documentary. Doors 11.30am, films 12pm. Please arrive in good time before 12pm if you're getting a coffee. There will also be a chance to discuss the films after the screening. The cafe will also be open throughout. There will be a selection of cakes to choose from and instead of coffee you can have a tea or juice box if you prefer. This film has a 12A certificate
An exhibition about the history of shoemaking in Northampton. Northampton Museum & Art Gallery Saturday 28 September 2024 - Sunday 15 March 2025 The shoemaking industry has been part of Northamptonshire's history for hundreds of years. This exhibition will look at how the industry has affected the lives of the people of Northamptonshire and beyond, not only through employment but providing hospitals, carnivals, days out and Christmas parties. It will explore the history of the biggest employers in Northamptonshire through personal stories and artefacts.

These constructed scenes of everyday life – produced in collaboration with survivors – reflect the ambiguities and psychological manipulation that enable this crime to flourish.
Doors open 2pm with the films starting promptly at 2.20pm. Your ticket comes with a glass of wine, a bottle of beer or soft drink. The Orangery cafe will also be open for additional refreshments. Local Director Antonella Spirito and Producer Barnaby Spikings of 'The House That Stood' will be with us for a Q&A after the screening so have your questions ready!
