This exhibition addresses this fascinating topic and journeys through the demise of the dinosaurs and marine reptiles, death of the ice age mammoths and the impact of humans on the dodo.

Crafty kids can create their own St George-themed make and take crafts and enjoy a St George's Day tale with a twist! Kids entertainers will be offering free face painting and balloon modelling. Adults can also try their hand at crafts in the Yarn Bombing workshop. Juggling Jim will run his Silly Knight School, where kids can try challenges to become a knight of the castle, followed by Circus Workshops, teaching juggling and balancing skills. Ahoy there! You are invited to board the Sailorette and join the plentiful crew, The Old Time Sailors, for a night of footstomping, dancing and singing! You will be sailing back to the 19th century for an immersive experience of traditional seafaring music performed in a way you have never seen before. The Motley Crew and their plethora of traditional and eclectic instruments will take you back to the time of clashing tankards, and drunken debauchery.
