"Meet the Artist" Nadine Platt and Gerald Porter are currently exhibiting their works at the 78 Derngate Renee Mackintosh Museum in Northampton. Come along to talk about Art, ask questions, discuss your artistic endeavours and see the exhibition. Everybody is welcome! Admissin - Free!
Piddled and Paint
This is always a sell out event so join us for an evening of artistry….I’m not saying what kind . We will supply all the utensils to make your creation, and whilst your painting your subject which we will pick and place on your table, a free welcome Prosecco and nibbles are also , you can drink cocktails or whatever your tipple is and we will have a prize for the winner. Tickets are £25 each and you can take your “art” home, plus there will be a prize for the winner. If this is popular we will do some more. The Summer Reading Challenge is the UK's biggest free reading promotion for children; it's run by charity The Reading Agency and delivered in partnership with Public Libraries. We've teamed up with @createcharity this summer to bring you #MarvellousMakers! Join the Summer Reading Challenge craft event ‘Mosaics/Pixel Art’ at Northamptonshire Central Library on Saturday 3rd August at 2:30pm. Explore your creativity while you learn new skills, make new friends, and have a great time! This is a free event suitable for ages 4 – 12 years old.
