Frankenstein
A new story inspired by the classic novel by Mary Shelley Written and directed by Seán Aydon 1943. Whilst Europe tears itself apart, two women hide from their past at what feels like the very end of the world. And one of them has a terrifying story to tell… “I created life. You don’t believe me but it’s true. I didn’t start from scratch of course but out of portions and odd ends I made something – alive. But what I created… it wasn’t a superhuman. It was a monster.” This new thriller inspired by the classic gothic novel and complete with a stunning original score explores the very fabric of what makes us human and the ultimate cost of chasing “perfection”. Frankenstein is an electrifying reimagining of the world’s favourite horror story that will set minds and spines tingling.

We are delighted to be hosting a joint venture with Northampton High School throughout February in our Bassett-Lowke Rooms and Mezzanine Galleries. The collaboration showcases our deep connections with the school's heritage. The diverse array of works on display have been created by alumnae students, most of whom studied A level Art and Textiles in recent years. All concepts shown are highly personal and it gives both the school and us - as host - real pleasure in curating selected pieces from the archive alongside works from the Class of 2024. The show provides a retrospective celebration of the girls' creative achievements within a space brimming with the school's history. It’s a truly glorious reflection of unique talent of the future! Mad Hatters Character Afternoon Tea
RELAUCH DAY Hey everyone, this is our official relaunch day, turning into an events venue. This day is going to be so much fun for adults and kids alike. Not only will the characters be with you throughout your sitting but we will have, balloons, sweeties, themed cocktails and a fantastic themed three course afternoon tea. There will be two sittings for this one 12pm-2pm and 3pm-5pm. Tables will be decorated, it’s going to be a magical experience for ALL AGES! Don’t delay as there are only limited spaces.
