We are a society in Northamptonshire dating back to 1876. We encompass many subjects including astronomy, geology, microscopy, meteorology, photography and many others. See displays and demonstrations by many of our sections in our purpose-built rooms. Bring a plant or item to look at under a microscope, look at the sun through our purpose made solarscope (weather dependent!). Bring a rock or fossil to be identified and look at our extensive collections.

The pond is a very rich ecosystem, with rick pickings for the microscopist. Bring your own samples to look at and share. Guests welcome
